Could anyone to upload this mod without the noseart or with the correction appointed by Ranwers included?

Thank you in advance.

I did not have the overlay9 file as well; but easy to fix:
First make adjustment in Cockpit_D0.msh file as ranwers described (file can be edited with notepad)

Next; in the 3do/plane/b29 folders create a text file and put in there:

[ClassInfo]
  ClassName TMaterial
  BasedOn Overlay1.mat
[Layer0]
  TextureName ..\TEXTURES\null.tga

Now save the file as overlay9.mat and you are done.

I have tried the fix mentioned here to get rid of the extra nose art but nothing is working. All my B-29 versions have this problem.

Maybe asking the obvious, but is it possible you have another B29 mod (Silverplate?) mod that loads before this one?

to fix this: replace ALL occurrences of NOSEART (3 in total) in the Cockpit_D0.msh file with overlay9.

Just wanted to add this:

Make sure these fixes load before any other B29 mod, but after the wheels mod.

OK, what am I missing here?
Looks like I only got half a door on my nose wheel, it has been pulled back from its normal place. See picture.
I just checked again and I see that some cockpit windows on the side of the pilots are also out of place. They have been pushed in.

You guys get this problem?

OK, Ok, I solved the problem.
I had PA_Jeronimos new wheels mod.

Here is the tip that Moderators should place in the first post of this new download... (To help newbies like me;D

1 - If you have PA_Jeronimo New wheels mod , Go to that folder (it is also named "#_Nuevo Mod de Ruedas") and
place a "-" (Minus sign) on the two folders that are named -B-29(Multi1) and -B-29(USA)
You can leave the folder named B-29SP alone , because that is for the other mod-airplane B-29 Silver-Plate, which is the Atomic-bomber version.

2 - Then place this new B-29 Mod 3D-fix anywhere you wish in your Mod game folder (DBW or whatever mod-version your using).
In my case I have the airplane folder re-named "AIRCRAFT_B-29_3d_fix"
just so I can have all my airplane mods neatly placed in an AIRCRAFT_name__  List

Mighty fine new 3d-fixes guys!
Thank you so much 101tfs!
All my old skins fit very nice on this new version too. No need for major changes in painting new skins.

must say, i've always considered the B29 as a rather 'unfinished' looking plane in IL2, but this makes it look so much better, i'm actually keen to use it again.
amazing what a little face-lift can do, lol :D

The problem of the New Mod Wheels can be solved easily by adding the corresponding lines in the Hier.him file, you can see in the image below, although the wheels that come by default in the Mod have nothing to envy that I made for this model in the New Mod Wheels.
