I am not able to start the campaign, i followed your instructions but when on USN i click on generate on the fighter campaign, or Others, i just hear a short "beep" and nothing happen

looking in the root folder i have this file:
Dgen_modERROR.log with the following text:
= DGen_mod 2.0.3.2 (15/05/2015) =
seed: 1510963
ParamStr: in 0       
DGen_mod initialization. Side: in, Rank: 0
Can't open DGen_mod.ini

it's my first user made campaign installation, so maybe i do not understand what to do in the installation process but i think i followed your instructions ...
any help would be appreciated

Can't open DGen_mod.ini

Please download this file:
https://www.mediafire.com/view/we7999oms97goqd/DGen_mod.ini
and place it into your HSFX root folder. I hope you try to launch my campaign on HSFX 7.02 modpack, not on stock IL-2;)
It is dynamic generator settings file, where you can change some campaign features, air or ground intensity for example. Detailed info you can find in Asura's DGEN latest version readme, download here:

yes, i try to activate it on hsfx 7.02

well i copied in the root directory the "DGen_mod.ini" file ... but no result ...

i am new to dgen campaigns, but i already installed another campaign before ... what could be my problem ? i followed the instructions:
- created a new HSFX 7.02 clean installation (in JSGME i activated just HistoryFX + perfect map)
- Downloaded DGEN.exe current version from: https://www.mediafire.com/download/me693dm7sd8lzo9/DGenCurrentVersion_01.07.2015.rar and put it in HSFX root folder
- deleted previous DGEN folder
- Copied DGEn folder from dowloaded archive to HSFX root folder
- copied files from https://www.mediafire.com/download/ah8uncvpuhhktqn/Motorhead_DGEN_Pearl_Harbor_-_Tokyo_(campaign_english_names).rar to DGEN folder
- downloaded mini "modpack" by this link:https://www.mediafire.com/download/nbalnm89nlx4w0q/Motorhead_Mods_1.0_for_Pearl_Harbor-Tokyo_2.0.rar and
put "Mods" folder from this archive into HSFX root folder
- copied files from "Files for Mod version" folder to DGEn folder

then today i added, as you told me:
- DGen_mod.ini file from https://www.mediafire.com/view/we7999oms97goqd/DGen_mod.ini and placed it into HSFX root folder

but when i select, for example, USN + Fighter and click on start, i go to main menu screen; the same for "bomber" and "torpedo" ...

what's wrong with my setup ?

i really would like to play your campaign ...

Ok, try to launch campaign without files from this "Motorhead_DGEN_Pearl_Harbor_-_Tokyo_(campaign_english_names).rar" archive, just use files from "Motorhead DGEN Pearl Harbor - Tokyo 2.2 version.rar" archive. I really never tested english version, maybe this is problem.

i tried your last suggestion, but no way ...:
- for "USN fighter" if i click on start i go back to main menu
- for "IJN carrier fighter" if i click start i can go to the selection of the subcampaigns, but whichever i select, when i press generate i just have e "beep" sound and stay on that screen

well i have invested much time i those attempt to run your campaign, and i will do other attempts ... but do not know what else i can try .....

As usual (if you click start and go back to main menu) this means inconsistency between campaign files. But i do not have problem like this and everything works fine. As you write, you install according to instructions on first page, hmm... try to copy files from "Files for Mod version" folder to DGEn folder first, and then copy files from "Motorhead_DGEN_Pearl_Harbor_-_Tokyo_(campaign_english_names).rar" to your DGEN folder, agreeing to replace.
I really want to help you launch campaign.

Exept this: "copied files from https://www.mediafire.com/download/ah8uncvpuhhktqn/Motorhead_DGEN_Pearl_Harbor_-_Tokyo_(campaign_english_names).rar to DGEN folder"
If you do that, campaign must launch, but you will see russian names of subcampaigns.
I never added new operations to this "campaign_english_names).rar", and this may cause problem with campaign start.

ok, a step forward :-)

first of all: i tried with "Files for Mod version EN" and i hade the same error as before;
then i tried with ""Files for Mod version RU" and i was able to "start"; so maybe the problem is with "Files for Mod version EN" ?

BUT, afterward i had some problems; the first one is thet everything is in russian, as you told me :-)
then i tried:
- the USN first subcampign of the first campaign, but i got this error: mission loading failed: mesh3do/humans/paratroopers/russia/mono.sim not created
- the USN first subcampaign of the second campaign, with this error: mission loading failed: landscape ag_formosa/lod_redko.ini loading error
- the IJN first subcampaign of the first campaign started normally !

may you please help me for the next step ?

well, i exit hsfx to wrote the message hereabove, then i reentered hsfx to try other campaigns and ... now it seems everything work, i was able to start even the subcampaigns where i had problems before (see hereabove) ... do not know why, because i just exit and reenter ...
so i think the problem is with "Files for Mod version EN", do you agree ?
so now i ask you for the last (i hope) step: i have everything in russian: campaigns name/subcampaigns name and briefing text; how to have them in english ?

In this version fixed many errors i found since 2.2 version was uploaded. Maybe error with russian briefings in english version disappear too. If you can launch my campaigns, i hope you wrote here your impressions from completed missions ;)

I believe this error is related to a memory problem, eigher from your computer itself, or the dgen.exe program. For example, I can successfully load about 13 "campaigns" (choosing army, choosing a campaign, choosing the first sub-campain, starting the mission to see if it works, exit the mission, erasing the campaign, recreate another one in same way etc...) At the 14th attemp, my rig crash, or "Dgen.exe" stops working, or "paratrooper" error appears in the mission loading process.
Exiting the game, indeed, solve this problem (until the nexth 14th attempt), like it was erasing some "cache" or something.
