Is the original mod up anywhere or does anyone have it? I downloaded the German carriers mod as well as the JU87C and the 109T and saw that theres a carrier based FW 190 Mod and I HAVE to have it

I am happy you like these skins, and I am sure you will enjoy even more the airplane models.
They all have folding wings and can carry numerous weapons and torpedos too.

Thank you so much! They work beautiful. I have to say, I've found that the 190s are probably one of smoothest planes to land on carrier. Even compared to many purpose built carrier planes

I forgot to mention, the planes work great, but I can't get the skins to work. I made a folder for each plane in the Skins folder (in the Paint Schemes folder in the main IL2 46 folder, thats the only skins folder I could find) and put the skins in it but they're not showing up. I've done this for other planes and the skins worked fine. What gives? What am I doing wrong?

In the .ini file is the name of the aircraft, and it turns out it's what you should name the skin file, Type the name of the Fw folder as (and this goes for all T variants of the 190)

Fw_190_A4T
Fw_190_A9T
Fw_190_D13T

Strange configuration compared to the other 190's but I think you'll find too that they will appear above the original 190 fleet of land fighters!

I got it work! Thank you! I must say, these skins make the planes even cooler.

These planes actually got me curious to see if a carrier based 190 ever did exist at all, even just as a prototype. I did find bits and pieces about them, but I can't find any solid evidence.

Compared to the 109T, I think the 190 would've made a much better carrier based plane due to it's wider landing gear, tougher radial engine, and versatility in that it could carry bombs and in some cases torpedoes (possibly a test for carrier operation?)

I have no idea either.    I made a few D13-T skins but then stored them into a folder. A few weeks later I was moving some
of my skin files for safe-keeping with other downloaded skins and they got all mixed up with the collection.
Thanks for reminding me.
I will look for them again. Nothing is lost, it is just mixed up in the skin collection somewhere in one of my portable terabytes.
