Blue Quicks for MiSp pacific

JFF Just for Fun

https://www.mediafire.com/download/fmsiiy8ez4msgcp/MiSp_Pacific.rar

Quicks (only Blue missions) for this map by Mixx and Spdr109
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=38005.0

TBH I do not know right now which mods I used within this mission mini set. (..made in lazy 'no work Monday' night way tired..)
But the jet era mod, F-4 mod, SAS~Epervier's self stationary planes (??)
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=15399.0

...and the new "ILSTACANBeacons" mod by Western was used. (F-4s)

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=40856.0

Also the birds mod from Stuka, which is not mandatory for mission load.

All in 4.12..
I think these mods are not necessary for mission load

Will try in 4.09m to see later..

Scenario is ficticious, blue Argentinian base (as for parked migs) with '21s (lol) in post 50s Pacific island, vs US /GB controlled nothwestern base.

The "MiSp_PacificBlueBridge00.mis" is only for floatplanes! Takeoff in the water!

The two Scramble missions are on the southwest bases, each at a different base.

Added some movers on the ground there and also some ships overall.Strike is simply a scramble edited to take off around 900ms and with some tanks around,

Making Quicks from Uufflakke's great template only worked for Blue missions since most waypoints where generated out of the map's area.

Anyway, for fun, credit to master Mixx and Spdr109 and Uuff and all other chaps whose mods are in the missions.

Actually Tom, I was working on a Pacific Islands QMB folder as well.

It started with 99 dogfight missions, Blue and Red, and then I thought I should maybe make some missions for the other options, which is where I am currently. The Missions are done, just a matter of insuring that all the A.I. do what they are suppose to.

I was using the stock map and objects. Only mod I was going to use was the marrat gun and the other one that came with the rabaul mod map. But decided to eliminate them, because not everyone has it.

having trouble accessing my photo bucket account atm, but when I get back today, I will put up a couple of pictures of the "world" I created.

Music, that sounds great!  :)  ;)

And tbh, the small 4 missions I made here based on Mixx and Spr109's map only work in my 4.12 setup with all the mods I have there. So in retro...I am happy no one seems to have tried them, seems to only work with all of Epervier's stationaries and-most important, the Jet Era mod.

Could not even load these suckers in my DBW install. :D

So yes, JFF-just for fun.

I highly recommend this map though, a number of great mission templates come with it:

So much fun. ;)

hi Tom :D
i tried these out, but had to do so via FMB, not in QMB
for some strange reason, QMBPro in my Modact 5.3 just doesn't see the MiSp_Pacific missions, the map doesn't even appear in the QMB map list.   ???
can't quite figure it out, all the naming conventions, etc are the same as the others, yet this map is simply non-existent in QMB....weird.

K, I know this is not my thread, but I did promise to upload these, and unfortunately I did not have any from when my video card was working, (tons of screen shots, but none from here?),so these are with all setting at minimum, sure you all remember what min settings looks like. ;D
Those bits of beach that are behind the base are not there on high settings.

South base Close

South Base Far

North base from South

North Base from North

I will try and finish off the missions before the end of the month.

Sorry gents for the late reply. :(

...had some net probs lately and tbh forgot about the thread last day and through my last sessions. ???

Eugene:
The trick is to first load "Blue missions" or "Axis" and then the MiSp Pacific segment.
 ;) :)

Music:

These object edits look marvellous!

Kind Regards..sorry for the trouble..

makes sense, now that i think of it. anyway - live, love and learn is what its all about, after all :D
thanks for the info, QMB working now.
gotta add, this map is really great, maybe my new favorite.
i was thinking of something like this as a follow up to my coral isles map, but i would never have done anything as sweet as this!
see you in the skies over MiSp!!    8)

Tom, while i've been enjoying these missions, i must say that they play out quite strangely, unless it was so planned.
for the blue side, no problems, but the red side planes are all set somewhere way off the east end of the map, so that i have to edit the mis file itself - there's no way i can select them in FMB.
anyway, the distance they are at is no good, defeats the whole point of QMB, lol.
so not sure if something is different from your map and mine, but i have to rework all these QMB's for them to be playabel.
oh, while i'm ripping into your missions, i noticed a fifth AI flight of 4 Phantoms, in some missions.
imho, never a good idea to have AI flights in a QMB mission, especially immersion-killing if i'm playing a WW2 era mission, and bump into a flight of Phantoms in my poor Tony..... :D
of course, i know you're a jet guy, so...  8)

All valid points Eugene, but that was also why it was hard for me to make the QMBs in the first place:

I use Uufflakke's Quick mission templates for any map I wish to have Quicks on for new maps.
Now with some maps I get exactly this issue, mostly small island types of maps:
The generic (and later to be edited) waypoints where almost all outside the map.

The only ones leaving at least an option for edits where the BlueNone ones.

That's also why I edited an extra AI flight in there: I wanted this to be a fictional jet era mission (That's also why I placed JETS on the bases)--as we do not have something like this in the Pacific..-and the available red jets were all way off the map.

So that 4 ship F-4 flight is my spare enemy and designed to be there as a target of choice, waypoints set so in theory any prop can avoid them suckers. :D ;)

PS
One of the coolest maps I ever saw, off this world.

PPS:

The extra Water Start mission was for fun, to see the benefits of this beauty. :D
