it's already working in 4.10, afaik.....in my DBW game, the planes have full throttle smoke - actually, i think it's part of the DBW AI mod....

Are You sure Malone?
After installation of DBW v 1.6 - full throttle smokes just dissapeared....
Really needed stuff.

It's there, but quite subtle...

yes, as elephant said, it's quite subtle - actually, just spot on for my taste - i'd actually love to replace this more subtle version over the older, darker smoke version...;)

I too would love to have this in BAT! 8 added the necessary code to AircraftState.class, but no joy. I guess the engine mod must have disabled the required variable?

I note that now we have a smoke that's invoked for certain engines when their gravity-fed carburetor cuts out. Perhaps the full throttle aspect was eliminated to 'make room' for this one? Which, moreover applies to VERY FEW motors. Unlike the full throttle effect, which was present for a good number.
