I remember landing a U-2VS on a carrier once and surviving. It's not hard if you cut your engine and glide in.

Yes you are right, it's perfectly possible. There are even people who can land the Me-223 on a carrier (I always die trying with the Gigant). The F-4 Phantom is fun to land, a nice challenge ;)

blazing, hi again! Another question. According to my feelings, whom I believe very much, LaGG-3N is equipped with SHVAK between the cylinders and the B-20 above the engine. It is not real, because of B-20 is more up-to-date and improved comparing to SHVAK...  I ask you either to change on LaGG-3N SHVAK to B-20 (will be "what if" late version) or to change B-20 to 12,7-mm BS (will be conversed from real plane). Read about B-20. Same problem to Il-2, that equipped with SHVAKS where should be placed MGs... Just the same - either replace, please, with the B-20s (very-improved ver.) or with 7,62-mm SHKAS (conversed from default Il-2T). Thank you for the attention and your labour :)

Of course they are. B-20 is in your La-7N now, 12,7-mm UB now has default LaGG-3 ser.66 (above the engine) and 7,62-mm has default Il-2T. But, you know, I would like more "fiction" variants ;)

So, here as you wish:

Absolutely fiction var. (I prefer)     Real what if conversed var.

LaGG-3N with 2xB-20                              LaGG-3 with 1xSHVAK and 1xUB
Il-2N with 2xB-20                                    Il-2N with 2xSHKAS (7.62-mm)

Hello! I have to add a little note: Il-2N in its loadout has "Torpdeo", not "torpedo" ;D :-\

Best of luck!

I landed Skipper's Gyroman on a cargo ship once.

Edit:
Did it again, with proof this time:

Don't you hate invisible barriers?

yea that's the collusion for if anything hits say a bomb if damage is equal to strength of the hull then it sinks.
