a really strange problem with MissionProCombo as of today
« on: January 29, 2014, 01:20:10 PM »

hey guys!

I was in the process of updating my SCW install, when, after patching up to pack #6, my game crashed at load up at 60%
ok, no big deal I thought - I checked the air.ini trice but that did not yield results, #5 was working;
I then reinstalled SCW again, and it worked again; but when I started to add some more mods, I found the culprit - MissionProCombo  :-X
instant log provides this here:
2014-01-29 21:10:11:163 (dinput.dll) : JVM Parameters injector deactivated
that´s the last entry in the log file;

strangely, my main DBW/newTFM works with MissionPro while Istvan´s V3 of DBW1916 also crashes at 60% loadup when the MissionProCombo is activated..
remming it out gets the game started normally...

does anyone have any ideas?

cheers
phil

update:
SCW and 1916 still crash with missionprocombo activated, newTFM does work - I do not know why... logs do not provide anything useful either;
if I want to load up quick missions with the standard QMB, i get a "datafile corrupt" error :(

Hi! I had the same problem with last update of DBW 1916. Maybe something related to the different maps that contains each pack. Now I have differents QMB_Pro (for DBW_1916, only with the missions for WWI maps) and install (uninstalll) it through JSGME when I run each version. No more 60% crashes.

may I humbly ask where did you get the QMB_Pro for DBW_1916 only?

Ok, DBW1916 include Java files for MissionProCombo so you don´t need to activate it. You can create a JSGME pack only with the missions for WWI, for example: DBW1916_QuickQMB_Pro/Missions/QuickQMBPro/WWI missions folders.

P.D.: I remember that the problem began after install extra missions for new maps in QuickQMBPro.

Hello Guy!

well, V3 runs, without MissionPro, as does update #6 for SCW;
this is just weird because both worked with QMBPro before and I do not have an idea why they crash my installs now;

In my case was with the latest patch for DBW1916 V2. MissionPro java files are included in the pack, so i think that you don´t need to activate it again. You need only the missions files. After reinstall two times this is te only way I can run it. No idea where the problem came from, but maybe something related with extra missions in QuickQMBPro for new maps.

well, it is not that big of a deal, I can also run all three in parallel thru the selector, only QMBPro is only working in newTFM which is my main install currently anyhow;
it´s just that I hate to admit defeat in such things , silly ego thingie :D
