Working in FMB but not as campaign?
« on: January 14, 2014, 08:32:45 AM »

Do you have problems with a campaign of your own, where the individual missions load fine in FMB, but when you string them together to form a campaign, it simply doesn't work?  :(

To be more precise: you DO find the career there in the "Pilot Career" menu, you CAN choose to the point that you see the info text, and edit the difficulty settings, but when you press the "Start" button nothing happens. And when you go out to the "Pilot Career" menu you do find the started campaign there, with zero missions performed. And when you load it (don't!), you get a crash in the form of a screen rolling full of your pilots name.

Check the campaign.ini!

If the .mis extension is missing on the individual mission entries, add it! Then have another go.  8)

I would also add, for reference, that you also need to make sure that the file names of the mission files must not contain any spaces. Spaces are allowed in the FMB, but not in the campaign files.
