Time to share this for feedback and suggested direction:

Creates new folders in the Music folder and plays music (or sound effect) in those folders when certain events are triggered in-game.

Attached WIP:

Battle folder - will play when under attack, about to attack etc
Tense folder - will play when approaching target, friendlies under attack etc
Victorious - target destroyed, mission complete

Will revert to Inflight folder for transits

I have included some music in each folder for testing, but you can change it to anything you like (as long as sound file is in IL2 music format). Ride of the Valkyries anyone? 

Working in 4.10 , 4.11, 4.12 HSFX and DBW.

Install as per download folder structure.

I wonder why the menu music often stop working?

For those looking to add a new theme their sim, try the following (assuming you have the after landing musi mod as well).

Takeoff: 
Tense:  or
Crash: 
Landed: 
Victorious:  Use a clip from above (0:51 to 1:09 works well)

Some of these are part of a never officially released collection of topgun music that can be downloaded for free, others can be obtained on itunes, or I'm sure there's some way out there to get them off of youtube if paying for music isn't your thing...

If anyone can suggest a good track for "In Flight" and one for "Battle" to complete the set, post a link!

I think it would be cool if other people could post some themes too to get the best out of this mod!

This is SOOOO COOL !!  It took me awhile to discover this mod, but it is just Great!
I like the music you have chosen for these "action moments" during the game. It gets you
feeling in the mood. It´s almost like a film.

I would recommend to TD to include this mod in their next patch update!
