« on: December 26, 2013, 09:02:06 PM »

Will the DBW be updated to the 4.12.2 or is it stopped?
Just wondering about updates  :) :) and future plans?

I have already made a DBW1.71 combined with HSFX7 which works perfectly in v4.12.2

I created a first versiĆ³n with some issues, then a second one which is more stable and efficient.

It was being Beta-Tested but there isn't any reason to avoid release it for everybody. There are some complications regarding the many SFS files required, that is the only difficult thing to accomplish.

Can you enlighten us on how to combine the two?  I would love to know.

Hi my game came with 4.12.2. Can I downgrade to 4.10.1 somehow or is DBW's compatibility with 4.12.2 just around the corner?

Get a hard drive and make security copies of the different versions. I have 3 so far :)

But..ehm...how?
So the version I always start with is 4.12.2 - that is what Steam gives me. I can download a patch, say 4.12.1, but it just consists out of 2 or 3 files.

Yes, I am in a similar situation.

I have an old 2004 IL-2 Disc which won't install on my Windows 7 computer & the Steam 4.12.2

I think we just have to be patient with these dedicated & talented guys.  ;)

( In the meantime SAS Modact 5.3 is a worthwhile installation.  ;D )

I wish there was a way to get all of the 4.12.2 benefits with the DBW + 4.10 planes, especially the choppers and the planes that require that you have the F-4 mod (another 4.10 plane).

THat would be nice, especially since 412 appears to have friction on the runways adequate for humand and even the ACE AI to take off in tail draggers w/0 spining off the runway at low power settings.

I still appreciate all the tedious work these guys do for us om any event.

It is being Beta tested.

It is available. But a little complicated to explain how to make it run. Last weeks some advanced users gave feedback for it and I have corrected several small issues.

Perhaps next week a public Beta will be available. But it will require some previous knowledge (and you already have HSFX7.01 and DBW1.71 SFS files downloaded).
