Hey guys, I installed the FC plus Ukraine mod in my IL2 1946 SAS 4.12.2 and followed the instructions and placed it in JSGME, however it didnt function at all in the game, any advice on how to rectify this issue?

Try to put the file F. C + U in the main game folder, for example:
#SAS, #SAS_Forgotten Countries plus Ukraine (Full), i18n, PaintSchemes
or:
path: jsgmemods, #SAS_Forgotten Countries plus Ukraine (Full), #SAS, #SAS_Forgotten Countries plus Ukraine (Full), and inside the files i18n, PaintSchemes.
it works in my Vp Modpack.

So I had to find the thread, dl the mod and find out what possibly is wrong.
IMHO its the instruction: use jsgme.
This simply can be misleading (as always when it comes to jsgme...  ).

I am pretty sure you unzipped the mod and put the folder:

Forgotten Countries plus Ukraine v2

into your jsgme folder.

This is wrong.
You have to put the folders:

#SAS_Forgotten_Countries plus Ukraine_v2
and
#SAS_Forgotten_Countries plus Ukraine_v2_Full

(wich comes in the zip inside the folder "Forgotten Countries plus Ukraine v2")
into the jsgme folder.

So you get 3 options in jsgme:

#SAS_Forgotten Countries
#SAS_Forgotten_Countries plus Ukraine_v2
#SAS_Forgotten_Countries plus Ukraine_v2_Full

Choose one of the 3 mods and it will work.
Difference between +Ukraine and +Ukraine_full:
"full" simply has more countries.

I tried, and its OK in vpm-pack, when I select generic blue (or red)
the planes have Ukraine roundels.

Hey guys, Ive tried all of the methods that y'all advised me to do and still no joy so far. Ive noticed many of the mods that are in JSGME that work perfectly have a folder labeled documentation and have a JSGME file in it. Is there such a file for this mod?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread,but I was having trouble with this mod also. I could only get a few countries to show up. After searching through my mods I found a Paintschemes folder & after I disabled it the Forgotten countries mod started to work. BTW, I am using 4.12.2 with modact 5 custom install with many mods.

I have the same problem as Phantom had.
If I drop the Forgotten Country , I have problem with campagnes ( Most of them impossible to play : Crash )
If I remove this mod I lost the insignias on the planes ( QMB and Missions )
Any solution ?

I believe the mod you were using was an older mod made for 4.09. Have you tried the mod from this post? it is the one I am using and it is working good. It is for 4.10 thru 4.12.

Hi Phantom again !

Yes , I tried
This mod does not demage the Missions but the planes are still wihtout insignias ( QMB and Campagnes )
I try to use Pikkes Forgotten Countrys but... QMB - OK ; campagnes  totally crash or plane crash at start of the mission.
Any idea ?
