I'd be interested to hear from others too.

Try starting this campaign with a completely new pilot maybe? But what you describe usually comes when there is a problem with the plane, cockpit or loadout?!
Can you open other missions from the campiagn in the FMB or as single missions? how do they look for you?
(I am inclined to say there's a problem on your end. Did you do anything to your install, like add mods?)

I have replaced the stand-ins for the Hansa-Brandenburg DI and the Berg DI with the real things!
