The problem isn't the 3d model Steven, it's about how stuffs work, java coding specficially.

Theoretically we can do these but not yet implemented due to time constraint:

1/ We have 3d model for radar objects. what we need to do is that create a new implementation TypeRadar, and code it in a way that all SAM launcher must be within the Radar object to operate. Thus if the radar object is destroyed, the SAM launcher is useless.

2/ The second part is simple, having the missiles lock onto that TypeRadar, when it's active only.

3/ Part would be coding the aircraft cockpit so that there's a mechanism to detect when radar is lock on to them, and when their anti-radiation missiles have locked onto the enemy's radar.

that's 3 part of the projects, which I, Checkyersix, Wasted thought about long ago but I don't know where's there whereabout now so pretty much canceled. As a modern jets modder I'll have to come back to this project eventually but I would need some help since I really suck a ground objects, so if a map modder would help, I would really appreciate.

Cheers,

Eric

Daisy cutter problem - the fix by Stefan enables to use the daisy bombs ...as regular Mk82 bombs - it suppresses the "altitude-linked explosion" from the java code of this bomb.
the log of the problem is as follows
java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key Mk82Daisy
(and I have not installed any F4 in my mods folder)
Can someone help?
SOLVED
There was a double syntax mistake in the BombMk82Daisy.class file:
a sign >= instead <= of < and a pair of forgotten {}.
Here's the fix:

Hello guys,

One quick question: Which version should I paste in my MOD folder? "4.10" or "4.11 later"?

I'm running on 4.12 + Modact 5.3 + jetw 1.3

I assume the "4.11 later" must be the one, I'd just thought I'd make sure.
Also noticed an update from Vega's Workshop: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=27908.0

Is this update compatible with both "4.10" and "4.11 later" files?

A great plane, very enjoyable to fly with :)

Best regards - Clint W.

cool to see the f100 in il2, like the wide array of air to ground ordinance, however, the aircraft handles like a brick since the elevators aren't very responsive, and pitching the aircraft upwards takes a while. this obviously affects the aircrafts ability to turn, and as well as pull up from a dive while bombing.

Aircraft reacts to elevator and ailerons very slowly. Dive flight ends in crash with 99%, because control surfaces totally ineffective. Is that really so, or is a bug?

My upgrade in jet section fix elevators behaviour, much more maneuvrable

Stock FM is ruined by 4.12 that change flight parameters

Sorry for being noobie and dummy questions...

I'm not common to moding Il-2 in modern way. I'm trying to add any plane (for example this beautiful F100) to Ultrapack 3 RC4 but still have a problem with crashing game after pushing fly button in QMB. Is it known problem? I have done all the requirements described in this topic.

Thanks in advance  :)

Depending on a version of this plane, you might need 4.12 - it should be marked.
