Hello guys, as show in the subject my IL-2 SCW crash at 70%  after installed the Update Pack #3.

Till Update Pack #2 all works fine.

Could you suggest to me some indications to solve this trouble, please?

Una semplice soluzione è ricominciare da capo , una soluzione intermedia è postare e cercare se è già successo nella sezione cui il mod si riferisce , una cosa comune a tutte?

Hi Walter, thanks for your reply (I write in English even for non-Italian  ). I posted this because I have not found a solution for this trouble in the dedicated section. The trouble appened only after update pack 3 installation, till #2 all works fine as I said before.

The game start to load but at 70% it stops and come back to desktop. No error message displayed...

Whan I disabling IL-2SCW by jsgme the game works fine again.

Mystery for me....

Come detto prima: nel topic dell'update nr. 3 non c'è nessun tuo post....dovresti metterlo lì come prima richiesta d'aiuto!

E poi come detto ancora prima prova a reinstallare da capo....se non ci sono episodi simili (il pack 3 è stato rilasciato abbastanza tempo fà da far venire fuori eventuali errori) probabilmente hai sbagliato qualcosa....magari non hai disattivato il pack prima dell'aggiornamento ad esempio....

E poi se il CTD avviene al 70% se non sbaglio dovrebbe essere relativo a qualche oggetto dinamico (nave/carro/veicolo) mal inserito ( e ciò avvalora la tesi che potresti aver sbagliato qualcosa nell'installazione) ma magari una lettura del tread '30% 60% 70% troubleshooting' potrebbe darti qualche dritta ulteriore....

E poi il 70% ctd dà indicazione nel log....

As I said this weekend I will re-install all SCW but I will read as you linked to understand well the modding management.

I will try to install also the "instantlog v1.0" maybe it could help me to not put question unuseful...

markino, yes, it is important that you provide the error log info - without this, we cannot help properly, and will only be guessing as to the problem

Hi Malone, yes, you have right! I do not know instantlog before... I apologise...
Now I delete IL-2 SCW and I am going to reinstall all. I will tell you the results next.

hello Marco!

check the file structure within pack #3
maybe there is a subfolder placed wrongly;

as said already, I used the direct install for SCW, meaning I created a separate subfolder named #SCW that stands beside the #DBW folder and contains all the SCW stuff and then use the new ver 3 selector to start SCW;
this runs fine, even after upgrading to pack #3, meaning in my case just dropping the files all into the #SCW folder in my install...

Hi Griffon, thanks for suggestions. I will do as you suggest, creating a dedicated folder for SCW. Next i will post messages on SCW update #3 topic.

I tried to reinstall all from beginning but even crash at 70% after installing Update pack #3.
