You're very welcome wackywings  ;D

Glad you're enjoying them and be sure to thank the original creators of these aircraft. I couldn't have done any of these without them. ;)

Cheers,
Ed

All you have to do is use the "Plane" folder of version 409!

This plane runs out of fuel really quickly.

I have been flying this on the Aleutian Islands and the aircraft is empty and propellor cuts off after about 20 minutes.

Surely there is an easy way to simply increase the fuel capacity?

Thanks!

Yes !
This mod has a capacity of 400 liters.
To modify this capacity, simply :
- either modify the external FM
or
- modify the aircraft code to force it to have more fuel

EDIT
I note that the plane has a range of 1400 km at a cruising speed of 190 km/h.
That's 0.28 liters for 1 km or 3.5 km for 1 liter...

Or tick 'unlimited fuel'...

I do this for the Catalina, as despite several attempts by Tobi, the fuel capacity gives nowhere near the actual aircraft range. One point to note is that you can set any fuel capacity you like at mission start e.g 50%, then tick 'unlimited', and the plane flies at the 50% mass.

Not perfect, but better than a totally unrealistic range...

Hi,

Epervier mentioned editing the aircraft code to give it more fuel

How would i go about doing this?

Thanks,
