so i chancel the HE111 and start my P-47 Template

try to made it same realistic as my Fw190 Templates

its an early WIP but a quick impression about how Panel and Rivets will look:








and both wings :

Really excited about this one!  I hope you do some Razorbacks as well as Bubbletops... Nothing beats an olive drab razorback all weathered up!

I do my Best 

do some Metal Shadering to get it shiny when sun is on the surface








how do you liek the rivets ? made them a bit sharper for better 3d

maybe i should add a dark silver shader too for more deepness of the metal , i will try that out ,

My great Grandmother, used to assemble the ammo doors for P-47s

Just a question though when looking at your wonderful work Pagan.

Not that it really matters, but have you researched what holds the ammo doors clossed? When looking at the pics all I seem to see are rivets, do you have screws hidden in there as well or are there quick release fasteners that hold the door closed.

Was just thinking with all the awesome work your putting in and the detail that the pixel pitch can give. you might be able to tell the difference between a screw holding the panel closed or just a plain rivet.

Just some rambling questions keep up the awesome work.

till now the only thing you see are straight rivets , i should have a pic of a real P47 wing , then i could do the rivets and screws , so it would be like the real thing

maybe someone know where i could find a close-up photo of a real wing

I couldn't find any with the ammo bays closed but I thought they were interesting... Funny that they open "into" the air stream.... Usually aircraft panels open opposite... So if they come un-latched the wind blows them shut!

Couldn't find any detail.. Looks like gun and ammo panels have cam locks.
