Small bug:

ModAct 5.3, no crash, only an observation. Very rarely, with the version I currently fly, PFM, I get the following, I have sadly to say ca. the following as I cannot put my finger on it clearly:
When I come from a higher altitude towards sea level, speed could be anything between sub sonic and super sonic, if I press the nose downwards, sometimes I get a right or left spin, but only for a fraction or half a second, then usually it is gone. Always after pressing the nose down in a negative G manner.
Loadout was /has been mostly clean but with gunpod.

...like the less powerful brother of the older heavier spinnng bug...but MUCH less noticeable.

Maybe you have the no-radar version. In version with radar, it is on by default.

Hi guys, I am hoping to install this in the next few days on my 1.40.1m (FBDSM) DBW 1.71 working install (currently using old 9.7 buttons - I have new ones ready).

I am likely a real prize idiot asking this 'double check' after spending the last 4 hours gradually reading a hundred pages through between threads..
Engine Mod v2.6, The Jet Era 1956, Jetwar v1.2 & v1.3, this one, and the v10 & v10.3 Buttons thread.
...saturatuing my mind with and a few self pasted together tips into a readme for offline info guidance to joggle my grey matter, I have downloaded the following to install/mod patch ready for this beautiful bird to join my DBW hanger... (and as far as I know to be installed in this order.)

I am likely a real prize idiot asking this 'double check' of steps & downloads ..no change there then lol :)
1-Back up my working DBW Il2 game folder,
2-Turn off all JGSME activated mods and install
3-SAS_Engine_Mod_v2.6_RC_Final, in *hash-mark*DBW folder
4-SAS_Engine_Mod_v2.6_Hotfix, over that
5-SAS_BUTTONS_STABLE v10.3, into its place within DBW's STD maddox etc, ..if 10.3 is problematic after test, delete 10.3 and use 10.0
7-Test Stock IL2.
8-Turn on DBW mod in JGSME
9-Test DBW works
10-Install the MiL-24V & the L-159 too (for weapon packs) MiG21PF/PFM.... & edits its air, weap' & plane files ...possible without the MiG21 v1.1 radar if that needs 4.12.1/4.12.2 & JW 131/1.33 (I might have this confused)
11-test DBW again ...& fly
12-smile
...what did I miss? perhaps? the RC editing and 2 related .sfs files for step 4.5.

This latest version update is for 4.12. ;)
No use applying it to 4.10.

For 4.10-stock Mig-21s, IIRC I did NOT need the Mi-24 or Albatros mods. Simply the latest Engine Mod version for 4.10, the complete Jet Era mod of course and then the 2nd Gen Mig-21 package-and the updates which came before Vega's latest 4.12 mod. Be advised, the radar cockpit mods have an issue though with upper left switches missing.  ;)As for buttons, it should be independent as these planes have independent buttons.

PS: If you manage to import the latest version into 4.10 and it WORKS, you are my hero hehe. :D

1 Yes, you can.
2 No, I put it in there, but I can upload you a clean panel later.

To have the black PF pit, download this:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,35005.660.html

The mediafire link there.--at the bottom..
I put in all my verisons extra there.

Open the PF version, you will see it is black by default, same for PFM version. You can copy the "frontpanel.tga" from  the PFM version into your PF.

It has no pic-. ;)

This is nice...Easier to land..no bounce and explode!  Did you lower the forward view from the cockpit as you can see more runway as you land?  Works fine, 3.0 versions Generations 1 and 3.  Thank you and SAS team and testers...a good day!
