You don't have to edit anything but the hotkeys. Scroll down until you see something related to differential breaking and assign a key for each of the commands. After you do that, you're good to go.

the hotkeys Kilo is referring to are not stock, but will appear once you have installed the Engine Hotkeys Mod 2.6, which is also a prerequisite for the MiGs.
simply assign a key for left and right brakes. ;)

Successfully installed SAS_modact-v3.6 alongside a 4.11.1 with HSFXv6, Engine mod onto #SAS folder, buttons and now have a MiG-21 plus an F-4 Phantom parked in my garage. WOW!
Excellent work people, very impressive.

One small glitch is my view is part obscured by a green strip in cockpit side view. I'm not sure what that is but it doesn't diminish the joy of flying such an historic craft!

Thank you all those involved.

Worked out the green strip = first class seating. I've only ever flown budget and the bench seats lack head rests ;-)

Hello! I have very big problem with the R-3 and RS-2US and K-55 rockets! When playing multiplayer the right rocket is fired first and she has 50/50 % chance of hitting a target, but the left missile stays on the APU (launch pylon) and has do be "released" again in order of start flying! But when i fire the left missile, i can easely overrun it! with strong lock on the target , the missile flies with the same speed as the aircraft at the launch moment, and the missile doesn't go on the target. The other thing is than the problem isn't just in the MiG-21. All the other planes have some malfunctions, firing the missiles. I use DBW 1.71

Wow !
I also tried to put Phantom II and Mig-21 into HSFX 6 .
Basically , it works, but I get no loadouts !
Could you please send me a complete tutorial showing how you did that, please ?

I created a little mod for Mig-21: Modernization pack with R-60M, R-73 and NR-30 cannons in GP-9 gunpod. I need authorization from Aviator Mod Team or SAS group to release this little pack

Hmmm, server was busy and trashed my last response to this. I'll try again...
Firstly, I installed into #SAS so it is not available when set up for HSFX6 and in SAS...
Wow to WhoopS I'm afraid, on further testing it freezes the instant I press the missile release key.
CTRL-ALT-DELETE and "Start Task Manager" brings me back to the desktop where a small Info window displays: IL-2 6Dof/TIR Enabled Executable for modded IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 has stopped working.
I do not use 6Dof so it must be included in one of the composite mods.
As to my install, 4.11.1/HSFX6+hotfixes/SAS-modact3.6+buttons+engine. I updated all files as per the README that came with the plane mod by searching for them within #SAS.

just a quick question regarding the third-gen MiG's

will the bis variant have the device known as the super afterburner?
it raised the power from around 65kN to 95 kN that produced a 5 mtr long blowtorch like cone

MiG-21bis belongs to the fourth generation, not third.  ;)
