here's a pic to illustrate.
at normal viewing speed, all you see is the fireball.
when paused, you can now see the rockets.
it's a similar scenario with planes having landed and parked, although you can see the rockets appearing on and off, in a long straight line, like landing lights blinking on and off very rapidly.  i think these issues are all related, but i stand under correction.

I can confirm the problem for MiG-21, the fireball is there. But not on F-18, when destroy there isn't any fireball left.

yeah, and as that particular rocket is used with the MIG, i suspect it has something to do with it.
should i move these posts to the MiG thread, d'you think?

Issue is known about and a fix has been made. I just can't for the life of me remember which development thread it is in!

Malone, I reported it here, like half a thread ago, but whatever :D. IIRC it's an issue with Alkali missiles, not with plane itself.

Yup. It also happens with MiG-17PF when armed with these missiles.

I don't know whether it was noticed already, but when the pilot ejects, his head just remains in the cockpit, suspended in thin air. Although the ejection goes well, it looks, well, at least strange))
