I just browsed the samples and they aren't a bad start!

If I may: Weapon sound is subjective, 10 people can hear a ma deuce and have 10 different ideas about how she sounds.
BUT there is a substantial difference between what a weapon sounds like from the front and from the back. From the front there may be a staccato or even a deep base sound depending on the weapon, but from behind the sound is very mechanical, hearing much more of the action of the weapon than the muzzle blast or rather a combo of the two.

So for what its worth, remember that the sound of the weapon itself needs to be modeled for the interior sounds, not just the blast.

So the cowling mounted gun shout be changed is that what you are saying? The wing mounted gun are behind you ;).  Also WWII planes didn't have good sound insulation...   Beside why don't you try them in-game ;)

Hey guys I made a Low Volume version of my mod for the engine sound lovers. If you guys could test em out, give me feedback, that would be great. And since i have no idea what volume you guys want, please tell me if they are to loud/soft and if i got the balance between them right.

Very nice sounds. I especially love the low volume one. I do have one problem however. Whenever I pull the trigger, in both the cockpit and outside views, the engine sound cuts off. Not sure if I have a conflicting mod or if I just need to change some settings.

EDIT:
I should note that my problem happens on both of the sound mods - the low volume and the regular one.

 :-[ Oops. Sorry about not specifying.

I have DBW with 4.101. Yes I have UV3. I also tried disabling it and still have the same issue.

If I need to I will post a screen of my mods. Or is there a simpler way of doing this?
