Having problems making this mod work.
Using Version 4.12.2 + HSFX 7.0.3
I may have the concept of how to install the mod completely wrong. I'm attempting to install the "#_Nou Model de Rodes_V8", by unzipping this file into the HSFX "jsgmemods" folder in the IL-2 folder, then activating it using the JSGMe Mod enabler.
This does create a 3do folder, in the IL-2 root folder. But the wheel mods do not show up.
Is this installation procedure wrong?
Thanks.

Hi IronMatrix,

The Mod is designed to decompress in the MODS folder, if you want to activate it with the JSGME will need to create an intermediate folder named Files, so that this route would be be more or less, #_Nou Model de Rodes_V8/Files/3do/Plane....

Regards

Jero.

An observation,
First, yes, I'm a rookie at this mod stuff, but I'm learning as I'm going.
When installing this wheel mod, after having installed the engine, cowling and prop fix the JSGME (HFSX) installer overwrites certain files.

So my question is, is there a preferred order?

I installed in this order:
  • Engines, Cowlings and prop fix.
  • Extra Engines, Cowlings and prop fix.
  • New Wheels Mod.

Yes, referencing, files in the folder named "Extras_fix Cowling Engines & Prop" in the mod.

But, just noticed,
that when attempting to create a COOP server I get a "Selected aircraft NOT created" message when clicking the fly button.

But all seems to work with the dogfight server,
Is there something simple I've missed?

Am doing more research...

As a update to the previous post,
the problem is something to do with the Engine and cowlings mod, the FW-190 series (beta). I'll post additional info under that thread when more is found out.

Ahh! already did not remember that folder, sry. I also follow that order.

On servers not, I haven't tried it, but COOP campaigns have used the mod without any problem.

How is it that in 4.12 TFM I have green wheels on the MiG-3 but in DBW 1.71 I have blue wheels? How do I change them?

Thank you for the reply in the props thread on the F2a spinner: I'm searching here to see if this has been mentioned - your Yak-9UT wheels are compatible with the Yak-15..GearL1_D0.msh and GearR1_D0.msh

New folders needed are Yak-15 and Yak-15(Multi1) - copy disc.mat and gearII.mat into these also
