Shooterking`s Stuka Siren Mod
« on: April 08, 2013, 02:14:03 AM »

Hello together

I can`t make a new topic in the directory "Soundz", but i upload now here my Stuka-Siren Sound mod.
You can put this WAV file in: \Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Files\Samples or somewhere, where you have a Soundmod like the UV3 from Tiger, always in the directory "Samples".

Download: diving_17_81a.wav

You can activate the sound with the airbrakes, from the stuka.

Thank you for downloading.
 ;D

I hope someone can move this Thread in the "Soundz" board.
Now a lot of fun with howling stuka. ;D

 8) You're awesome, will try at home.
Sounds perfect.
BTW. Basicly there's a prob when tinkering with the Stuka divesound, as it conflicts with
the Ju87/He111 Jumos (211???). At least all other Divesounds availlable where just bad copies of that Pink Floyd
Skid from their The Wall LP and forgot to add the corrected jumo files. When adding, the sound from the engines disappears.
Another thing is the divebreaks, the sound when lowering, that produces a nasty mechanical noise as well.
Just lower them and listen carefully, at least when adding AAA's Divesound and with default it's very loud and present.
We are on the way to have good divebreaks I hope. Those from BF1942 FH1 Mod where awesome, if integrated
into the BF2 version FH2 worked great too. A shame a simple shooter has better Jerichosirens.

As a very senior stuka pilot, I will DL this when I come home and try it. A cool siren is always a good thing on all my misses with the bombs

I know, it's impossible to activate it if we don't have the preset, as we don't. I hope someone will help us...

There's a control called 'diving' which returns the Stuka's airbrake setting, and you can use that to activate the sound, eg

Code: [Select]
[sample.example.wav]
env 0 2 8
controls diving
infinite 1

[sample.example.wav.diving]
minlo 0
minhi 0.7
maxlo 2.0
maxhi 4.0
value 6.0
pmin  0.7
pmax  2.0

Also the link is broken, could some kind soul re-upload it?
