I must be getting better at deck landings in the F-4 (probably over 200 by now) - because I seem to have the time to look at the ship. I'd really like to see more detail so I'm embarking on a project to enhance the modernised Essex carrier. I've chosen to remodel the USS Hancock CVA-19, mainly because I wanted to differentiate between Oriskany and whatever happens afterwards.

I ran into the same problem and I also have the HD mod installed. I know this is old, but did you ever get this to work?

@SlowBurn68 I don't know where the failure occurs.

A simple solution is to use USS Hancock instead https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=37026.0

It has much more detail and really only differs in the number on deck. Good luck.
