Fantastic work on the metal surfaces Taro.
Forgive me if I am wrong here - input from experienced skinners please ? - but shouldn't there be OD paint on the upper inboard cowlings
of the inboard engines as well as the upper nose surface ?
As I understand the function was to prevent glare off the unpainted surfaces from blinding the pilot/copilot, and the inner engine surfaces
were painted to prevent this also.
Again more definitive knowledgeable advice appreciated here.

Again, the metal work is truly outstanding!

Thanks,

Kopfdorfer

Hi, sorry for being offline such a long time.

Yes Kopfdorfer, of course OD paint on the upper in board cowlings of the inboard engines and on the upper nose surface will be done. :)

I like the painthsemes of planes of the 308th BG, 14th Air Force to :)
Actually, I'm working on 308th BG skinpack.
For now, my research is almost done for two squadrons:
375th BS skinpack willl include 23 historical skins
374th BS skinpack willl include about 36 historical skins.
Reaseach for 374th BS & 425th BS is almost done.

It takes much more time than I expected...
Anyway, I will come back to skinning on 1st July, because I'm quite busy in real live, and tomorrow I go to Cracow and then to Dusseldorf (Germany) for two weeks.
Cheers!

@Taro
Are you using some kind of shine mod?
Because I don't have these awesome white reflections in my airplanes.
They look like simply gray.
They are not showing the best of your awesome work in my IL-2.

Of course I'm talking about the skins that you were already released. :)

Thank you.

Hi Santobr.
No, I don't use any shine mod.
I use Hsfx 6, so mabe there is some shinemod included in this modpack I guess.
