Okay, Ladies and Gentlemen, it's available for download
I could spend more days and weeks refining it but I think it's good to go as it is. Let's call it version 1.0. All the objects are original, I only changed textures. I use HSFX 6.0.

I did some massive 32 vs. 32 air battles, and everything worked fine. There are three missions for every side, in three different corners of the map - Italy, North Africa and Greece - all with 'target' as 'none'. In the QMB menu select '+', '-' or '=' (which stands for advantage, disadvantage, equal) in the 'Position' (Pos.) sub-menu, to jump to another part of map.
The textures I used come from various maps, and all of them were made by other talented modders, mostly agracier, redko, RedEye_Jir and cyberolas.
