Jet engine sounds
« on: March 06, 2013, 03:41:12 AM »

New jet sound. I took sounds from this video

Thank's to Bravo for linking this video ;)

This mod changes sounds for every jet if you don't use tigers soundmod. With tigers mod this changes modern jet sounds and some german jet sounds.

This mod works surely with DBW I don't know how it work with other versions

Reworked sounds including new afterburner sound and sounds for F-100D & F I also included louder sonic boom sound

Afterburner sounds made by Jafa I think
Huge thank's for makers of L-39 sounds it was base of my mod

Don't expect I can make as good sounds as tiger but I try my best and those tiger flyby sounds are somehow coded so I can't get same kind of flyby effect

Nice sounds Hangman.  I have a couple of questions.  You have 3 flyby sounds, any chance you can tell me where they fit in as I'm trying to record the flyby's over my house in the sticks. I live in the Highlands and the Tornado's are always doing low level stuff around the mountains.  If I get the chance, I will record them.

One flyby sound is like a grumble, it doesn't seem right.  Would love to help if i can as this is a very good attempt.  I know that Tigers sounds are great but still very difficult to get going.

''339_flyby_narrow'' is the sound which you hear when plane is far away ''339_flyby'' is the sound that you hear when you hit F3 for flyby view and the third one is only some test sound that I forgot to delete. So the plane sounds are combination of two sound files but to be honest I have no idea how to create make completely new sound mod this mod is only experimenting with different sounds.

I am really happy if you can provide some sounds to me :)

It might take a while but if I'm lucky with my own recordings or some edited ones from films, I will let you know.  For the 2 Files, do they need to be a certain length etc for the flyby sound to work?  This will help me when editing.

Cheers
