I do the same with all A/C. This in 4.11.1 most of the time except 1916.
Most holds true there also.
Open rads, start engine, set prop pitch, set take off flaps.
Find taxi way and roll out to it.
Power up the engine start to roll and add more power until full throttle.
After lift off cut power back, raise the flaps and gear, adjust prop pitch to run with out over heating the engine.
Throttle set @ 80 to 90% and hang on and enjoy the ride.

Yes Dinga, go find a C47 and tell how well you found the tall wobbley thing at the back of it kept it on the runway. As I said earlier, full opposite lock did nothing.

Strange. With the C47 I don't have input response issues as much as I have an inability to generate lift. I have that problem with the DB-3B too. Takeoff with full fuel and bomb load is impossible with any flap setting other than "raised." And I mean impossible. You are literally incapable of getting off the ground.

I'd hazard to say that it was improved after 4.10 with the introduction of G forces.

Ah. 4.09 rebel... Change scares me. Ah well, that could explain it!
