PaintScheme is a structure in game code. This structure is responsible for displaying country and tactical signs on model skin (on the default skin too). For this reason title of this topic:

Once upon a time...... 8) I'm asked Ranwers why His Spitfire MkI have wrong rundel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Air_Force_roundels ).
He answered me that is more complicated and send me class file that contains proper roundel. After a careful "analysis of the code" 8)
I found the answer - PaintScheme.
Now I want to change default PaintScheme for B-17F.

On the left panel we can see static block definitions from B17F model.
On the right panel we can see all PaintScheme classes defined in game code.

My intention is to bring close apperance of our birdies to the historical one.

May be it will be useful for 3D programmers...  but now we have no chances to make PaintScheme similar to B-17G.

These are fantastic and long needed, but PLEASE do not forget to add the new Hurricane IIc Tropical and Hurricane IV Tropical to your corrected Hurricane roundels files.

Nice to read this  :)
but...
I've just deleted my "clean" instalation UP2.0 + Last Patch and don't remember which of "birdies" need to be corrected. AFAIK there were problems with Hs-123 & Hs-129 - it is difficult (for me   :) ) to find pictures from the time of WWII.

You might also want to "fix" the Bf-109F's since the game wants to have them use the later war crosses without the black outline versus the cross with just the white outer portion.

As a MAT user You can prpare *.tga files with haken and balkencreuces.
As a "Happy User of 13 class files for Bf-109F's" You can try to experiment.

If I change one of this file (where the PaintScheme is defined), I change the lenght, MD5,CRC-32,SHA1 and many other parameters and the game crashes - may be because I'm not Java Guru 8)

We need to have the possibility to define:
- *.tga files for both sides of fuselage
- *.tga files for bottom surfaces of wings
- *.tga files for upper surfaces of wings
- *.tga files for both sides of rudder/s
and we need to have " proper 8) " Java Guru to do this.
