Thank you for the Camel campaign vpmedia.

And thanks for your work on the Dr1 too. I find I'm spending more and more time in 1916 and really appreciate your work in creating it.

My Camel drops out of the sky and explodes on load.. I assume that's because I have DBW 1916 v. 4.1 ? I was able to play the first mission with an air start, but that was all . . . and London is BEAUTIFULLY POPULATED! Totally understand if you have no time for an update, but wanted to check and say: Thank you :)

Not a problem, some older planes were disabled in 4.1 but I forgot to update the campaign.

Open your air ini and enable the frankenplanes.

After the ;start of frankenplanes line remove the ; character from the front of each line or replace the text with this:

I forgot to explain the frankenplane thing :)

These are from the original DBW-1916 and were hacked together from various parts of different planes.

All the planes I included in DBW-1916 have realistic 3d models, so I disabled these old ones because they did not fit into the general concept of the pack.

Oh yes! Thank you so much. I really wanted to fly this, and can't wait.

2nd Mission has a strange thing where it appears to be an opaque bomber, and I can see the crew, who I can also see through, all bobbing up and down. LOL, just skipped ahead. Other than the second mission all is good. The Camel is a challenge, and just what I was looking for. Thanks for taking the time to do this. ~S~

I'll update maybe this campaign when I have more time. The 3 replies this topic received since 2012 make this a very non-urgent issue. :)

I looked into the files and it was much easier than I thought, only a handful of planes were missing.

I also updated the Fokker E.III campaign

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,28992.0.html

I also found a new campaign for the Albatros D.III

Enjoy!
