Beautiful map with great textures and simply superb villages and towns. I'v never seen these made so well. This is setting a new standard for populating with photo-textures.
It just goes to show how the old default maps can still be turned into great up-to-date maps that look fantastic in the latest version of the game.
The old maps had a big drawback in one way though - they were very basic and not very colorful when you open them up in FMB. So to do justice to this retexed and repopped Prokhorovka map, I put together a new ed-map for those who like this sort of eye-candy and can't fly without flags and posters on the map. This is just meant as a colorful addition to the map.
Download the link and place into your Prokhorovka_RRR map folder, overwriting the files when asked. Note, that there is a new texts.txt file as well. I repositioned the village/town names so they would accord with the village/town symbols. That is why you need a new texts.txt file.
Aside from the ed_map appearance, this will not change anything else in this map.
Before overwriting, always backup the older files,
just in case.
