I hope its ok to ask in this thread as it about your map Zuti.

In the UI1.2 the Zuti-Slovenia map is the v 1.23.
I asked why this wasnt updated in the UI.1.2 as you even have the v1,34 for download there.
I was told by fly.zo to ask you as you had the answer for the reason they are using the v 1.23.
So the question is where they not allowed to use any other version??

AAA had EVERY right to use at least 1.34, not to mention 1.35. Why they used that prehistoric version is probably a result of their organised work. What can I say. I think that UI1.1 had never one, but won't put my hand in the fire for this as I don't use UI at all.

Bottom line: to use that prehistoric version was totally their choice. Why? Ask Monguse. fly_zo just likes to point his finger in my direction. I was also notified that he moved Slovenia map thread over there to beta section. Is that true? I mean, unbelievable. But as they want it.

I hard a hard time beliving you would be against having your never map in theire install and thats why i asked you.
As that wouldnt be the guy i think you are after how nice and well you have answered and treated people from when i started to get to know your work.
Well its theire loss, as the map is a beuty.

Hi Zuti,

I have posted in tech help as i'm having CTD's at loading landscape stage of IL2, i'm trying to pin down the cause but so far without success.

I ran your auto installer today for this new version of your map and just wonder if this could have altered any settings or added a rogue file in my IL2 ? I ask because I run IL2 AAA UI 1.0 heavily modded and wonder if running your .exe on top of a non UI 1.2 installation could have caused my problem?

Please accept my apologies if this is not the case I am only trying a process of elimination to try to get my IL2 back up and running !!

Making as a rule of thumb you should avoid running auto installers in personalized settings the best thing its to install in a temporary folder and them manually update your install so that you can control the modifications. Auto installers are conceived to work on standardized environment. In fact here at SAS we are not very supportive of autoinstallers.

Making: please check your MODS folder for 01_Zuti_AirfieldFrictionMod  folder(s). Try disabling/deleting them and see if that helps. I did update the friction mod that is necesarry for these new map versions and could be troublesome, specially if you are using Fireballs CTO mod. In that case, please visit this topic: http://il2ultrapack.net46.net/index.php/topic,247.0.html and download CTD version. Then try again.

Please let me know if that solved your problems.

At work all weekend so will get on this Monday - i'm also going to try to generate a log.lst next time. BTW, this happens on ALL maps not just yours - Hi Frankiek all Zuti's other autoinstallers went without a hitch but i'll follow your heads up in future.

That solved my map loading problems!   Never would have thought your upgrade would have done it. ???  But apparently there is an issue.

Again, thanks Zuti, I followed your advice, and deleted your friction mod and got my game back. I will download and install it again, with the friction mods disabled, I hope everything goes well. Thanks mate

Like I said, try different friction mods. If you use CTO mod from Fireball, use CTO friction mod. If not, Standard version should work. This is the case if you DON'T have my MDS installed. If that is in your MODS folder, delete all friction mods
