I decided it wqould be best to remove the old one as THis has changed to a beta not a WIP

Here is the PT-Elco 80 Finally released to the Public. THis is still a WIP as the only issues that need to be fixed are the 2 .50 cal For some reason they fire in the opposite direction. I then tried the il2 .50 gun but when it came to firing it aimed down to the ground when it was tracking the target. When I get them fixed I'll update the link.

Just a note I have fixed some errors but not all the only model error is with the cabin.
THe USA Flag has been fixed.

Just put a - (dash) infornt of the original skin and then copy the new one. Just so you don't lose the other one incase you want to go back to it.

I was using the PT-BOAT and I got thinking.............

Some suprise screenshots: Using the driveable Pt-boat on my top secret map I created.
Does anyone know who can I talk to about using driveable pt-boat and who I can talk to about improving the java class for it for the weapons.

Very very cool

Will cruise my very wide and detailed Yukon River in Northern Alaska with this on Sunday.

Will be great to use not just for cruising and shooting up things but I think it will be a very useful useable mapping tool

Well the ship is only released tbe drivable part is not. i want to make some improvements so your going to have to wait for that cruise

I am still working to fix the gun issue but for the mean time if you don't want them to fire put tracking at the bottom of gun 0 and 1 like so

I have an urge to paint a new PT-Boat skin for this Mod.
It looks like a wonderful Mod.

on it until its the best attack fast boat we can get in IL-2 seas!

Hi all Just a little update about the up coming update. I have Fixed all the guns however Gun0 and Gun1 have trouble aiming, I'm tried to fix it but no luck I'll see if one of the ship master can help.Also I have placed a Helsman on the boat to give it the little bit more effect which I should of done at the beginning.

On another note I am planning to create a later model PT elco with different weapons, it shouldn't take as long maybe it will take about 2-3 days to make the changes and about 2 weeks to have it ready.

I'm thinking about the later weapons and at the moment I thinking a 40mm bofos at the back a 20mm at the front the twin .50 cal and the tropedos.

Please let me know if there is any other type you would like.

There was a PT-Boat modified to carry 4 machine-guns in the front of its nose, like
an airplane has on the wings    There is a photo of it in books.

AH! You found it! Cool  I was going to take a scan of my book to show it to you
I don´t lie about these things, it actually did exist. I think it is radical, I like it.

If you cannot solve the problem of the guns moving around or targeting, perhaps you could use this version
of the PT-boat to just shoot its 4 guns forward (like an airplane) when the player moves his boat in the direction
of an enemy ship.
Good luck on your mod-art, I know you will do a great job.
At the moment I am testing the new PT-boat skin to see if it fits nice. I am making it
a little bit larger so I can get into it better details, because this is a very small skin with many tiny details.
When I finish, I will send to you a skin for you to test in your game.

For the drivable ill look into adding the guns but it will need a new java class for tropedos and the guns i can see myself firing at landing ships.
