I wonder of they actually had reciprocating bolt handles? Im sure the guys at RoF did their homework, it just seems strange to me. Must remember though that was 1917 not 2012!

Respectfully Boeing I think that stuff like that begins to push the law of diminishing returns. A lot of time and effort would be put into that, but would it be worth it?

Oh, sorry CWMV. Since I know nothing of java and what not I had no idea it how hard and complicated it would be :-[. I guess that small thing wouldn't be worth it if was a complicated processes.

I always liked the action of the guns on Blue Max. though I am sure that it was unrealistic.

Anything coming out of Hollywood sounds and looks better than real life.
Real life is usually very "boring".
I know, I tried it last week  :P  Very boring.

IL2+DBW-1916  is much better  ;D

Hello guys, I just added this gorgeous aircraft to my 4.11.1 with SAS Modact 4 and had the same problem as others with the aircraft only working with the no weapons selected, I then added the Fokker triplane and everything was good to go. ???

I guess it has a file the Albatross doesn't, could you please update the mod or provide the necessary file for those that wish to use it outside of DBW 1916 and without any other of the WWI aircraft installed. ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

With 4.12 on the doorstep why would anybody bother to do the work for the 4.11 version?

I am still on 4.10 and I am loving it.
I am not sure if I will ever move to 4.11 or 4.12.
Although seeing the crash effects for the 4.12 and how the airplane slides across the ground, does make me want
to move everything over to the 4.12 patch too. I will wait until we get these things sorted out.
Many things will have to be changed and updated for the big move.
It will take sometime to do it properly.

Mine too sometimes, ...4.12 sliding has some more enhanced, and leaves 'skidding marks' behind too ..not just the one from the ingame pilot lol :)
