Bf-109F-3 normal and advanced versions by CirX and EnsignRo

This mod had been updated. it know contains it's own cockpit, AHS, options for POV mod inside the COkpit folder, and Option for EnsignRo's advanced FM inside the mod's folder.

Cockpit skins compiled from various sources, incl Freddy. Bullet Jamming added for MgFF.

This was proudly the first 109 mod to have an opening canopy, as done by EnsignRo/Sani.
This download has that thus for both versions.

Lines to add for installation, Credits and other details in Readme included.
--------------------------

You will need SAS Buttons 1.5 or later for the advanced FM version.

Bf_109F-3 Download

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When the DB 601E engine finally became available in 1941, production could start of the Bf109F-3.
It was visually identical thethe F-2, with Armament identical to the F-1.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It was produced in VERY limited numbers, but was operational with some few units, among them Jg 26, on the Channel Front.
"Pips" Priller used one at one stage.

I like the thing, that you have to warm up the engine and so...It is so much more realistic ;D Just like the Kittyhawks, they have it too ;D

Cheers!

Be warned,you don't get "overheating" message..you only get half dead engine (evil smiley with devil's fork)..so keep an eye on temperature gauge ;)

I looove it and I hate it. ;D

I love the concept yet I cant get it more than 30 feet down the runway before the engine frys.

I start it, Let it warm up to 80 on the gauge. Slowly advance the throttle. Once the throttle hits 40% the engine makes bad noises and dies.

I have to admit,this engine thing is a little bit funky Ro.Can't we please go back to the old engine?I don't care if my engine is warm if I can open my canopy.

Okay I got it figured out kind of, Let it warm up a bit to say 40. Then advance the throttle to 1,000 rpm and let it warm up there. Once temp gets around 80 advance the RPM to no more than 1,500 and let the engine warm up a bit more.
Once past 80 you can then accelerate for take off but do not over boost I say about 1.4 ATA max at GL or roughly 98%

She fly's beautiful and I love the realistic engine feature. Am I right that this is actually Olegs old unused code for engine managment?

Why he skipped it and simplified it is beyond me. With this super complex engine code it would ruin allot more engines on allied crates from overspeeding the prop and wrong supercharger gear at low alt ETC ans show in comparison why an FW-190 or 109 was so great with all the automation.

Guy's,you keep starring at the wrong gauge :D

OIL PRESSURE! Don't let it fall bellow 4.5kg/cm2

It's not Oleg's unused code,it's my code completely ;)...but I did have help with some more subtle nuances (thanks to SJack)..

not all of us, heheh... ;D
i toasted the engine on my first attempt, but on the second one restrained myself, and managed to takeoff relatively quickly, and hassle-free... ;D(chuffed)
airstarts are still causing me a bit of grief, though...but anytime now, be sure... ;)
