Is that plane really different to the Spitfire Mk.22? Only difference I can see at quick sight is the different engine, causing the bulbs of the nose.

There's a huge difference....

Tail and wings are completely different as well as the engine

Perhaps when the AMT/Highlander Seafire 47 is completed then it would be possible to make a Spitfire 22/24 from that since there is a large degree of commonality between the aircraft (canopy, rudder, prop and cowling are the only major visual differences between the different Mks).

Alternatively it might be possible for Ranwers to do a version of his Frankenplane Seafire 47, since before he added the Seafire 47s unique cowling and contra-props it looked very like a Seafire 46 or a Spitfire 22/24.

Gentlemen,

Many thanks. Perhaps you can help me - weapons mod in place, XVIe in place, all ini.rus in place, latest SAS buttons(5.9). Plane loads fine inQMB and appears for about one second (cockpit view) then black screen with normal chatter in background, esc key works normally. Normal Il2 executable.

System: win 7 64 Home/i7920@3.8/6Gb 1600 RAM/various mods.

Jack S.

EDIT: just tried with only XV, weapons and SAS buttons in mod folder and she worked so I have a mod conflict somewhere. I'll run a class check and report back.

Sorry to say but the flight model is rather unrealistic because it could climb as well as the Dornier 335 and out climb the Bf-109K6 which also has a better engine.

 :)

Thanks for clearing that up so quickly.
I had this Mod a wee while now but hadn't really used it because of my skins issue.

Superb!
