Please add news that you need download WeaponsClasses by SAS too. I lost 1h to find why i cant choose weapons with this plane ;)

Well, I don't use UP or HSFX. I'm still running on my own compilation of mods based on 0.93. Those big packs...too much chaos to my liking.

Ah, damn I remember now. I forgot it was using the new 50 cals from the new P51s by wolf. Thank you for reminding me I will update the threads.

ATTENTION PLEASE READ

If you are NOT using UI 1.2, HSFX 4.0 and above or UP 1.8 and above you will need this mod as well! The Spitfire L.F. Mk.XVIe in this pack use the 50 cal weapons from the P51s in UI 1.2. Thanks to Wolf and the team for weapons and SAS_Cirx for the extraction. You can download this here: http://www.filefront.com/15218289/US_Weapons_AAA_UI12.7z To install just place the folder US_Weapons_AAA_UI12 in your MODS folder.

 Nice bird to fly. The clipped wing version is quirky, like a Fw190 in the roll so feels familiar :D

Lewicide: In this version the rockets should have been corrected. It's worth remembering though these aircraft were never designed for using rockets and hence they were field mods performed to carry them. Therefore they weren't extremely accurate.

I must have stuffed up the install somehow

because they are (for me) doing exactly the same the thing as the beta version I removed.

Even in a vertical dive they impact somewhere between the central aim point and the bottom of the reticule.

It's got me puzzled (any ideas?)

I haven't written into the instructions but if you go and delete the "SpitfireMkXVI" folder from the MODS folder since you also had the beta and use the installer again to re-install the files then you should be fine.

Great addition - a much appreciated mod.
I'm sure the team are aware of it already but I noticed a small glitch when using Mat Manager to apply national markings. The rear fuselage distorts the roundels quite a bit, which I assume is the result of a lack of polygons. Any chance Rock could have a look at it at some point?:

Thanks, I have just tried that. and no joy. I've varied the convergence, the angle of attack upon release from vertical to shallow, and the airspeed at release and the rockets always go significantly low, I have not been able to get them to cross, or meet the aiming point of the reticule at any point of their trajectory.

Is there any way that I can adjust this ?

At the moment I'm just guessing for most rocket shots.
