please don't misunderstand me here, mate - noone is demanding anything of anyone, least of all me.
do not turn things around when i am only asking you to opst your question properly.
does it work in up 3? i can understand, that's a straight-forward question.
this : "what thehell is DBW 1.6 when it is at home
does it work with up3 il2 version 4.101
thats my question
yes or no will do
if yes what the hell am i doing wrong? cos i dnt se eit in my air frame selection lists"
is not a decent question, it's two or three vague, mixed-up questions all mixed up into one, and defies my limited language education.
if you don't get a satisfactory answer to your initial question, it most likely was simply missed, and all you need do is repeat it, instead of whatever those last few sentences were meant to be....
otherwise, there's the lounge where you could post and ask, or even tech help.
some of these older threads aren't viewed all that often.
now - think about your question as you've just put it, 'what do i have to do to ge thtis working in UP3?
the straight answer is to follow the instructions in the first post.
if, perhaps, you are having a problem and can't get it to work, then you should be giving the error details for us to help, and saying 'i am getting a 60% ctd, or whatever it is.
'what do i have to do...' type questions never really grab me much, that question simply means someone hasn't read the instructions.
so yes, i repeat, ask the question properly and it will get answered properly.
i can't guess as to what you're doing, what you've tried or not tried, etc....?

the orrigional post states download
where to? this is not explained
there is some spaces between download this and the next section

add to mods folder  , -MODS ? jsgnemods? now the location of the text tells me im to add the text to various files (air.ini) for example or does the text refer to the actual download?
this is the part i find unclear and poorly explained

as i was saying before i dont mean to sound ignorant
but for technophobes like myself it would be much nicer
to see
1) download this and place the folder in (location)
2) open this file (location) and add this line

etc a step by step idiots guid in other words rather than writing explanations that can be vague to say the least
hopefuly this is taken as constructive critisism as its meant and not sarcasm
i read your instructions
now i have have the welington line written in two different air.inis so i have no way of knowing which is in the correct place
this is the line in question..
Add to MODS folder and please add correct writes. Skin folder - Wellington-MKIII
i found this line to be verry vague
so ad the correct writes to where exactly? cos i have two air. ini files
one in  STD
the other in files /com/maddox/il2/
so which one do i write to and could we have this made clear in future, simply becasue there are pilots like myself
and others who join our squad rely on me to explain where this stuff goes (who dont speak english in any other fashion than pidgeon , so if i cant understand it what chance do they have?
so if you could ask your mod makers or whoever publishes it  to plz make the instructions moron proof for guys like  me:)

anyways its still not working it wont show up in my air craft selection lists
so i will need an idiots step by step guide
thers no error messges showing or nothign like that its just not showing up

It shal go in MODS folder Or #SAS# folder or #DBW# folder. You really should read the tutorials that are written for helping new fellows like your self to mod theyre game. It is not difficult but wrong ini entryes and messing about can cause a reinstall.
And it is somthing in the tone of your questions that looks more like demands, This is not a right way to go about it. Noone here are payed or anything

it looks like demands because people keep miss interpreting my words and trying to read between the lines
as i said i have read the tutorials and it explains nothing to someone who does not understand  the way youve all written things
what goes inthe MODS folder?

the download?
the buttons?
the scripts?
or all of it

You need to read topics about how to mod the game and you better calm down. There is a lot of people here that will help you if you show some interest of learning. Read the topics of how to mod a game then ask

vikshloss, i am sure that many, many members here will be interested in those mods - maybe if your squad agrees, you could post a link here for all, other than going back and forward with tons of pm's.
and nobody wants to hear about other nice mods that they can't use....lol.  :D
right, back to the topic at hand - at what point are we now?
do you still need to know how to install the wellington?
have you installed any other planes before?
please give your exact game version, and also the exact, full file structure for both of the air. in's - adding entries into 2 different ones is a recipe for disaster, i'm surprised your game hasn't crashed yet!  ???
i will help you with this, but as for step-by-step tutorials, they are plastered all over the site, so, short of holding your hand and walking you to each one to read, there's not much more we can do.
so, no long-winded answer, please - just provide the exact info as requested, for me to be able to help.   :)

Welcome vikshloss, so you aren't so new to mods then. & marketing something not explained too, nor giving due respectful credit to the selected mods originators as well - you can start a new thread for that if you wish.

razor, d' you mind not stirring things while i am trying to get back on topic here, mate?
yes, these othe rmods can be discussed in a separate thread, but enough for here - we are trying to get the Wellington working for him ,so let's just stick to that for now....this discussion has been going on way too long already.
vikshloss, i await your specific answers to my specific questions, in order to get this sorted out for you.
