... well I could ask for 3 of them : Breguet 693 (assault), Potez 63-11 (recognition) and  LeO 45 (bomber)    ;)

Don't forget the slightly older Potez-540 ...  :) ;) :D ;D

What other monoplane fighters were in the 500hp range?

There's a bunch for sure, here's some from the top of my head, I could probably find some more had I searched some literature and websites (had thrown the Fokker in there just for kicks, since it had twice the power that the 714 had and was still substantionally slower):

[K=top speed(km/h)/power(HP)]

Caudron CR.714: 500 hp (100%), 460 kph (100%)  K=0,92
I-16 type 4: 480 hp (-5 %), 360 kph (-20 %)  K=0,75
Bf 109B:      680 hp (+35 %), 460 kph (+0 %)  K=0,67
Fw 159:       680 hp (+35 %), 380 kph (-17 %)  K=0,55
He 112:        680 hp (+35 %), 500 kph (+6 %)  K=0,73
XP-77 (flown in 1944):   575 hp (+15 %), 510 kph (+11%)  K=0,88
A5M4:  690 hp (+38 %), 430 kph (-7 %)  K=0,62
Dewoitine D.500: 660 hp (+32 %), 370 kph (-20 %)  K=0,56
Fokker DXXI: 1000 hp (+100% !!!), 410 kph (-11 %)  K=0,41

And what a line-up: The Caudron, A Dewoitine and the Arsenal.

Precisely. I've always had a soft spot for French birds.

Great plane, thanks a lot! However, maybe these could be improved for next version:
- Center of 3D model is too far back. I'd move the CF about 1 unit forwards in hier.him to get the center roughly at the aerodynamic center and tweak GC_Gear_Shift parameter in FM to avoid nosing over too easily.
- Was the leading edge of gunpods really like that? I'd expect something more streamlined there.
- Flap hinge points don't seem to match, looks like the flaps should have two parts.
- Are there some gear well covers missing? The holes under wings look a bit odd.
- Damage layer textures could be improved some day.

I don't have proper reference pictures to see how these details were in RL but I hope someone knows.

Caudron CR.714: 500 hp (100%), 460 kph (100%)  K=0,92

For such a ratio, one must also consider the weight and aerodynamics.
The Cr-714 was the evolution of a racer.

Er..... the D.XXI's engine was an 830 hp Bristol Mercury and not a 1,000 hp engine.
