WIP info for Landing Gear Damage & Blue/start up Flames mod

As stated in the original mod's thread:

Before starting an off topic discussion of technical stuff on landing gears
as lock systems, etc these things aren't contemplated in IL-2 code so for that
GO AND CRY TO OLEG  :P

To that I'll add that planes in IL2 don't have electrical circuits at all nor retract motors, no code for that, no hitboxes on meshes, nothing, nada, zero.

I already planned uploading by parts so big families can be nick picked one by one ::)

I think the 190 is OK to me, because the landing gear mechanism can be damaged by the bullets and then it can get stuck in any position.
The video shows that.

A very huge thank you guys, for your hard work. ;D 8)

Please, include this in DBW, so we have a base to start.
If this kind of mod that changes a lot of classes not be inside DBW, the entire work can be lost because is very difficult to adapt it on every new version of IL-2 that comes out.
Just like Plutonium effects, we lost it for a while and it is not 100% compatible with DBW 1.71, and PAT smoke and camera mod that we lost forever. :'(

Oh , put me on the "Please alert" list when this finally comes out...would love to test it in DBW! :)

Do you get the ignition sequence right during startup? I don´t wnt my engine to stall because some "black men" has thrown the ingnition leads wrong!!

Wouldn't the ignition be more or less random when the engine hasn't started properly yet and is still rotated by the starter when these large flames appear? I'd expect the engine rev up towards normal idle RPM as soon as all cylinders start to ignite properly and the large flames aren't there anymore when the engine ignites every time because then there isn't that excessive fuel anymore.

I don't decide what goes on DBW ;)  but to be honest it is an "easy-going" mod, because it doesn't touch critical stuff outside aircraft classes. Also there is still a long way to go before getting a proper final version (small details to tide up/refine)

This flame effect STARTED because complains of incompatibility with Plutonium. This babe can go into bed with plutonium and nothing bad will happen because these flames (teture & code) are exactly the ones from plutonium extended to all other planes  ;)

Same for Claymore's 190s, I purposively waited until his pack was finnished for me to work on 190s effect. I have his classfiles as the material I worked on. I am actually pretty familiar with the content of it since I had an "insider" view of it from quite some time before release.

Now I am trying (up to what code allows) to adjust the mod to each plane's particular gear system.

Thus I'll use this thread to gather important reference material for it.
