~NEW~ Mega-Pack Skins for the late-Corsairs v.2 (Update of Fev. 24 - 2013)



Hello everyone!


  After long months of strenuous work with my small hands innocent and pure , my big brain , and my little mouse ...

  It is finally here! this MegaPack-skins for the Late Corsairs v.2 (F4U-4, F4U4B, F4U-5, F4U-5N, AU-1),
  (since the time that I speak of him )... More complete than ever ...
  for your great pleasure and mine... I hope...

  I mostly worked these skins with period photographs, for to make this more beautiful and realistic...
  despite this, I maintain the term "Historical and Semi-historical models",
  in case there would be a mistake or an oversight somewhere...

  I wanted each of these skins is as close as possible historical models with maximum detail,
  and I think the goal is reached...

  Attention!
  To make the most of any possibility of this pack, you need absolutly install the new AMT_radar
  and the AMT_drop tanks by "Red_Fox90":

- AMT reworked radar for the Corsair pack:

   72 skins (no number skins include)

   New default skins (USA)&(Multi) for all models

   All Radar, weapons, pylons, and droptanks largely retextured

   SkinMods for droptanks and the new radar of "Red_Fox90"

   and some bonus...

- Delete all that you have of the old MegaPack and replace it with this:

- Read closely the instructions for installation of arms ordnance and skinmods and default skins in the right order!

- All skins have been completely revised, corrected and adjusted to the nearest pixel, with more detail,
  more models squadrons, for that these skins are even more beautiful...

- Here all that was corrected and added to this MEGAPACK SKINS LATE CORSAIR v.2 

      - Fixed (Lines / rivets) on all models, and many details added
      - fixed (Lines / rivets) engine hood for F4U-5, F4U-5N, AU-1
      - Fixed Output Exhaust (more square) for F4U-4, 4B, AU-1
      - Correction in right side "victory and decorations" of the VMF-214 F4U4B
      - Fixed color cockades and the radar (a little less blue and more details) for the F4U-5N VC-3

      - Realize five models F4U-4 of the Late WWII
      - Realize news F4U-4 of VF-653
      - Realize news F4U-4 of NAS-Olathe
      - Realize of two  model F4U-5 of the Naval Argentina (one Navy-White and one Navy Blue)
      - Realize modèle of F4U-5N of FAH (Honduras)
      - Realize skins "Default" and "Multi" for all models

      - New Radar skin for F4U-5N of FAH (Honduras)
      - New Radar skin Default (Neutral)
      - New models of Pilots Skins
      - and New Screen Presentation...

Nicely done Starfighter!

I have not had a chance to fly them yet, but I did view the contents and take a good look at the skins.

Many of the schemes in this pack are ones which I've always wanted to do or redo myself, but somehow never found the time; so this is really a nice surprise to see them all in one place. I'm very impressed with what you've accomplished in this pack, not only for the historical accuracy, but also for your craftsmanship. I especially dig that Bordelon skin; I think it's the most accurate representation to date, super job!

The time you invested in this project is clearly evident, and I'm pleased to be adding these excellent skins to my installation.

I am very happy that you like these skins...

It is true that I have spent much time on the skins (5 or 6 months)
with in the meantime, health problems and a graphics card dead and
Now with a new ATI card that is not made for Il2 (freezes)
me either I have not yet been able to "fly" with...

that's why I opted for a presentation with the profiles of corsair instead of making screenshot of landscapes,
and then saw the number of models, it would have been difficult to do otherwise...

the search for historic photographs have not always been obvious for some models,
I did not always find much (especially to see the correct serial numbers),
but I was able to have a balanced number of model skins at make...

help me a lot to make certain model especially for small details, squadrons logos, labels and signs,

because it's the little details that make all the difference, I had to compensate the deformations of the 3D model
on the skin and make many adjustments in photoshop for the sharpness and solve the great problem of the
mode "indexed color" and making a few corrections directly on the skin flattened, pixel by pixel...
so that everything is as perfect as possible from start to finish...

(although there is still one or two small correction to make), I being a "Obsessive perfectionist and relentless " ...
and as it is impossible to make "exact 100% and 0 defects", I had to stop at some point...
and then I was eager to share these skins with you all...

The skins of the F4U-5N of Lt. Guy Pierre Bordelon is my favorite, I have taken particular care to the making,
it is with these three images that I made this skin so accurately...




I had a great pleasure to make these skins and this pack, and it's a immense joy to share this with you all...

These skins look ,and I'm sure are, wonderful. But for the life of me I cannot download em !

Gamefront is a total no go and RapidShare just goes round and round and round without rapidly sharing.... It then crashes my IE

I really would like these skins but am now a tad miffed as to what to do ???? Any ideas welcome and fingers crossed ....
