Thanks for the help and very informative tips guys, they are much appreciated. Thanks !
I will get to the mission making thing later, right now I am trying to concentrate on painting some skins properly to
fit into the new aircraft in the new DBW-1916 mod. In all, I am counting 34+ skins that really need painting.
Right now, I am thinking like Marlon Brando playing the part of the "Godfather" (the first film) when he looks at the dead
body of his son laying in the morgue table and says, " Look at ma boy... look at what they done to my boy

they
drilled him full of holes... His mother won´t even recognize him."

Its not that the WW1 aircraft are wrong, far from it, they are very cool and also fly cool, it is those skins they have
right now.
Any skin that fits these aircraft just makes it feel like a "wacked" guy lying in a morgue table. The actual skins do fit
very well other aircraft that they were first painted for. They fit "other" airplane mods perfectly, but not these new ones.
I am looking at this thing and thinking, its all wrong, not good at all. The old skins and the new ones.
Must make new skins for these airplanes.
For a number of hours now I have been taking screenshots like crazy of every airplane, all angles and views.
Getting to know what is what and how these aircraft would look like in real life, if they were real. I have also been looking
through my books and seeing other aircraft built in WW1 and how they looked like. Where would all the mechanical parts
be placed properly on these airplanes for them to be (or look) "real".
So it is my honest opinion that all aircraft need new skins.
The only ones not needing skins to fit the airplane would be the big Bombers. Those are good.
But even Skippers Hansa/Machi seaplanes need a new skin, because the older mod-airplane had diferent wing
struts and these new ones are not the same design, so these skins don´t fit these new planes. So even they need
new skins too.
Yes, I know, that is alot of skins to paint and make new templates for. It´s 34+ aircraft! ???
Anyway,
in good time it can all be done.
Must be patience about these things. I always try to be patience.
I have made in Photoshop a quick comparison image for you VP, and anyone also interested in making new
skins in the future for these airplanes. Look at the angles on these images and how the original skins fit them and
notice what really needs to be fixed/painted properly on the skins.
So grab these images and put them in your files, you might want to look at them later.
