I like to fly Luftwaffe campaigns, and my country was invaded 5 years. I like to have authentic markings and my wife never once mention to me it is wrong. Before anyone judge the average German citizen during the hard 1930, try to put yourself in theyre situation and upbringing, I do not think anyone can say for certain they would not be standing along the roads with a Nazi salute. This kind of thinking give me even more respect for the student's and citizens of Germany that resisted the regime and died in their effort doing so.
I say this sim always remind me of the importance to never forget and never do it again

never forget the human element, and never judge unless you have been there yourself.

That is the great thing about the IL-2-1946 game, it makes dreams come true and you too can become a
cool pilot flying your dream machine.
