What happened  to the buffalo 3d fix
It had some smoothing issues, and PA_Jeronimo wanted me to fix them. Finding time to fix them took unfortunately long, but I finally finished it over half a year ago. I've sent finished version to PA_Jeronimo, but for some reason he hasn't released it yet. Anyway, all Buffalos are finished here except that F2A-3 model looks more like B-239 now. Maybe that's the reason why none of the Buffalos has been released.

After so long time without response I hope PA_Jeronimo doesn't mind if I let others test the update also.
So here is the Buffalo 3D update with my smoothing fixes for you to test: http://www.mediafire.com/file/428o98b5kbfa4j7/Brewster_3D_update.7z

This version includes B-239 3D update by Red_Fox90 http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,39810.0.html except pilot update. This is necessary because updated nose is only compatible with Red_Fox90 fuselage. You can still use whatever pilot model you want although some pilot options may require hier.him edits. Unfortunately, only B-239 has updates by Red_Fox90 now, but all versions get updated nose.

Credits (hopefully I didn't forgot someone because I don't know exactly what PA_Jeronimo has done):
PA_Jeronimo: nose, engine and prop 3D updates
Gerd: original F8F engine texture and 3D model
Red_Fox90: original B-239 3D update, especially fuselage and cockpit area
Birdman: small fixes like removal of smoothing boundaries between parts

I hope PA_Jeronimo releases this properly soon, but at least you can now enjoy this very nice update. Happy Brewster flights with round nose and 3D cylinders in engine!

Many thanks Birdman!

Just wanted to add the link to this Buffalo fix to post #1,
but .. this exceeds 50000 characters, so I could't do it.  o_O

So, Jeronimo when you are around could you please shorten the text
or eleminate a few of the pics (as the pics link texts also counts).

Or Birdman, please make a new topic with this Buffalo fix please.
Otherwise it gets lost in this thread as we saw it with too many other mods.  :-|
