Hello, Thanks for the campaign! I am having trouble with the gamefront d/l links for the required aircraft, static mod packs. Ant suggestions? Thanks!
Hi Ashton,

saw your post on the other thread.  Here's a Mediafire link for:

#DBW_MOD_Aircraft.7z
https://www.mediafire.com/?sl3f8oqdfkjnfsb

Parts of the Static Pack are just too large for me to compress into sections smaller than 200Mb, I guess thats why Gamefront was chosen to host it.  If anyone else has an alternative, I'm listening!

Congrats Simon. :) This looks amazing. I cant believe I uploaded those music files back in 2008. ??? I'm glad they went to good use. I cant wait to get this installed and fly these missions.
Thank you so much.

That won't be enough mate!  The new Static Mod goes a LOT further and will have to replace the DAF Static Mod.  I will sort out some new links for you ASAP.

Sorry to be a bother, Monty! I used the new d/l link you provided but when I decompressed the zip I
ran into several file corrupted errors. mostly 3d0 skin tga. files. Thanks again for all your help!

Thanks Tom, I was hoping to see some screenies, these are great.  This is one Hawk that DBW does really well, I hope they sort out the other P-40s to the same standard.

Managed to rip the wing off the c47 in the clouds, got through the check rides, in the Biplane hawk and I'll be taking up the 81 on the next mission. Cool stuff so far, can't wait for some action!

Fully loaded the C-47 can't be thrown around.  Later, should you find yourself in a C-47, possibly between base changes, and maybe get jumped by three or four Oscars, in a thunderstorm, with only two escorts, if that should possibly happen - Dump the cargo before you go evasive.

51 of the 55 missions have you in a Hawk, but ocassionally its good to appreciate the other side when you are flying escort!

Thanks a ton for this campaign of the Flying Tigers!

As a noobie to DBW and after getting it all working as 1.71 plus JSGME clean  install mod packs, I have spent a couple afternoons reading and absorbing campaign/mission options.  I was about to start with your DAF, but after seeing your new up-to-date flying Tigers, I am giving that a big go..it looks fantastic!

Also, I'm really impresed with the level of pro modding from you and the guys at SAS and A&A, and that is great news about your BoB, SoM, and DAF being updated as well.  I will be looking for those!

Thanks again for all the effort, time, professionalism, and energy you have shared with us.

Hats off and Well Done!

Thanks BoHill.

Great to have you at the party!  Its good to see someone new to the modded game getting stuck into a campaign with so many mods.  DBW was created by CirX and SAS in order to consolidate the vast range of mods into a base that players could all start from together.  On top of that I was initially hesitant to build campaigns with even more mods but 78thFG_WindWpn has made that process a lot more plausible!

Please keep us updated with your progress and impressions and feel free to ask any questions,

good luck mate!
