Clouds may be affected by the P-51 skin... :D

like, the airplane is sooo forked.
300 things at 12000 feet and in that attitude trying to pull hard to chase the japses.
the game is having fits because you are not flying the mustang right (see "mustang = floppy dingus topic")
the effect of the seizure of the game is that your clouds are drawn all crappy and stuff.

fly correctly, straight and level, and the clouds will be fine... i predict.
because i am an expert.
n shiz, yo.

I've seen that before on another screenshot by someone else somewhere.
It looks like the default "cotton ball' clouds ánd messed up.
Maybe you need to change the  ingame settings like Hardware Setup/Video Options/Detailed Clouds.
Or go to your modded IL2 install/conf.ini and scroll down to [Render_OpenGL] and change the line Sky=1 into Sky=2.
I'm not an expert on this but maybe it helps.

Instead of the default clouds there are several nice cloud mods floating around.
You can find an overview of cloud mods here:

http://www.allaircraftsimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=32264

and at SAS there is another cloud mod by Manysh.

Good luck!

Yes! These are the best Modded Clouds I've found/tested. They are very big, as in real world (and as suggested by Mod tittle...) but also I've got better fraps, even with my low end PC. Give them a chance! ;)
