They have had plenty of time and money to fix the problems, and what have they got to show for their efforts so far? Drivable tanks.  ;)

Wtf is wrong with these people?
Seriously, fucking retarded. Who cares about driving the damn staff cars?
God in heaven this is just...wow. so much fail.
question is... why do you care? if you don't like it, don't drive it
I care because it has nothing to do with fixing the massive fraking issues in the game they sold me.
As I can't get a refund, ill be god-damned angry if and when I see them doing anything not related to making CoD a functioning flight sim.
Oh but that's right, were done with CoD. On to Battle of moskau. Or as I think of it "B.M"

the thing with Fix + Time is the old credo:
It was not fixed when it hit the shelves, and they are not done fixing it yet.

But Jeeps. Jeeps they can do. Right? to attract Potental Buyers from the Tankdriving or Formula1 communities?

I wish they could focus more on how to get the sim more smooth, I guess it is more people on and this is one team. Anyway I mostly agree on all said. I wish we keep this in a none flaming tone. I am a bit tired about these flamewars.
I think we should sit back and enjoy what they do and hope things aprove a bit.

Come on guys – lets be positive here. At least we can get good use out of CLOD now as a tank sim, that’s probably all its good for  ;)

tbh, i dont see any problems in CLOD for me. I play it, it runs smoothly, most settings are on high. I can't wait for drivable tanks :D

Then be happy, most others have to deal with issues.

I have a brand new PC (i7 2600, GTX560Ti 1GB, 8GB DDR3) and while I can run every other modern game (BF3, Skyrim, RoF) at full details @ 1920x1080 fluently, I am facing frequent stutters, micro lags/freezes in CoD even at medium settings (trees and vegetation even on low). And those are only the performance issues.

The multiplayer is so messed up right now, CTDs are a frequent sight, in fact in the JG27 multisquad event that my squad participated in I got kicked back to desktop each and every mission after about 15min meaning I could not join back into the game and participate. Most of my squad mates as well as round about 60% of all other participants had to face the same fate. The multiplayer code is in fact so messed up that you cannot fly bombers in formation as a squad as having human flown bombers spaced too closely together (a few hundred meters or even a few km!?) will lead to the sim crashing to desktop for the client.

I really hope the "mythical" performance patch that has been announced months ago will fix all of these issues as I really want to enjoy CoD but find it hard to do so given the current state of the sim

How is that possible? I've got about the same thing:

AMD 970 Phenom II Quad Core
EVGA GeForce GTX560 (Superclocked) 1GB
8GB DDR3

OS is Windows 7 64bit Home Premium
GFX drivers are the latest official ones (285.62)
Driver settings are all on default, CoD settings as said (epilepsy filter off)

Maybe our definitions of "smooth" are different, I do get about 45-50fps on average in CoD but it feels more like 20-25 due to the constant hicks ups & micro lags I'm getting, not to mention the noticeable slow downs when flying low over land.
