Works in DBW 1.7.  What a beast!  It downs more allied planes than you can shake a stick at.  In combat vs P-38L aces I had me a ball.

Thanks for this great planes

P.S.  The propeller version's skins fit like a glove

Are those skins on page one on a link now that actually works?.............
Would like to download those..

Cheers

The skins made by me and posted at Mission4Today (Download4theMods section) will
fit very nicely the first version of this airplane made by Kodama.
- The second airplane version he built he changed the model skin around a little bit and the old skins
do not fit anymore. So ONLY the old skins fit into the first version and the second version still needs a new skin-template for it.
Anyway, I don´t know which version airplane you are flying now, but donwload some skins
and test them on the airplane to see if they fit properly. I believe the jet version also uses the
old skins, so its cool to fly.

Jet versions (as well as field mod. and CRP) are using old-mapping skins. The one from M4T. I used MAX_thehitman skins as new default.
As for original Kodama's J7W1, version from Sept 2011 with new mapping - you can
1) patch it to old mapping by installing it: https://www.mediafire.com/?51uye1b5iw060jj
2) and then use old skins from M4T

Always thought that this plane should have beefed up rudder wheels and deleted main landing gear for weight savings = better performance...

While goofing around I managed to rip my mains off flying to fast and got to experiment! LOL!

Unfortunately the rudder wheels aren't coded as wheels... So I couldn't take off again... But it was still loads of fun!

AAAAAHAHAHAHA!  ;D That looks coool. It´s a 3-wheeler fighter. Looks cool.
Those WW2 Japanese designers were very smart in adding those little rear tail wheels in there for a reason.
I guess you just found out why they were placed there.
Great landing, congrats!

Wow

I found one of his old blog pages and before the J7W1 kodama was working on a Ki-83 project which, from the pictures, had reached quite an advanced stage. Will he be releasing this too?

Some times ago I found strange that the J7W had a single 7,7mm machine gun in the nose, second picture for reference.

Now check out the page 16 and 38 in this book:

Yes, J7 can attach 7.79mm gun X2 for training.
But not singe gun.
Single in 2nd pic is just a mistake or abbreviated.

I cannot get onto the forum with the actual download, I have to make an account for it yet I've gone through every, single, email I have and every single time I try to register the page crashes and then if I try to sign anyway the page says my account isn't in use, put the download on this dammit!
