May i add I play CloD & (even with slower than desirable FPS and many little & big flaws ( with a long awaited patch due,dare i say...in 2 weeks??)I really do enjoy it for the shadows & eyecandy, but I haven't given up on Il-2 which I play with DBW which really have put everything on Steroids...many thanks to the modders here at SAS!

Please stop guys.....must not buy it mustnotbuyitmustnotbuyitmustnotbuyit.....if i do it will be the end of IL-2 1946 for me, i still haven't got IL-2 to run as i want. and there will be no time for both  :( not sure i would be able to go back after CLoD graphics anyway  :-X must hold out at least until the basic problems are sorted.....lol

Get em both! There are still many things Il-2 does better& it has alot more to offer in Maps Aircraft etc...not to mention a creative community.CloD is pretty nice , but so far very limited...Switching back & forth os fair!
