PS: Ranwers, waybe you should extract 3d fix for P40 wings from UP30? -or maybe I extract for you-

This is from original game.

Bloody hell, this is incredible! I cannot wait to see this one filtering down into missions and campaigns, a real step up for immersion 8) Even if we still start missions on the runway rather than at the dispersal, it'll finally start to feel like we're operating from a working field...or seaplane base! And Epervier - I don't think 800 will be enough mate ;)

Very groovy stuff, 'grats and thank you all for the work on objects. They make a huge difference to the immersion, making it an order of magnitude better :)

Screwy

ps. Sorry to be cheeky, but any chance of a vid (or even demo mission ;) ) to help promote the mod? Can't help thinking it'd blow a mind or few to see taxiing aircraft in Il-2 whilst browsing Youtube  8)

Version 2 !
Remove all traces of the v1!
Not forgetting to remove the lines of chief.ini and more!

You can change the skins of aircraft. Do the same manner as for conventional aircraft, but put the files in the skins folder of this mods!

Edited by Admin Team !

See first post for link !

There is no skins folder, only a textures folder.  I would love to be able to put the Egyptian skin on the 262, and the Spitfire.  But I ran the mod and don't see any option to change skins.

Thanks.

You can change the default skins by replacing the tga files.

In the files of this Mod, for each airplane, you'll find one or more skins called "skin1x.tga".
Just replace them with those recovered (see link given by glibble).

Hello and a Happy New Year!!

Instead of giving us 800+ aircraft would there be a way to give us say, 10 or so with standard files for each one. Then, would it be possible to release folders for other aircraft that would then be able to replace the planes that move.

I just, for example, reversed the Chevrolet Flatbed truck and Diamond T truck by simply renaming the folders and they came out perfect. Planes could be the same.

Just a thought.
