Yes, this pack just solved several issues for me, so thank you, thank you.  Kept getting crashes for the B-26 mod, even after carefully editing the air.ini and following all instructions to the letter.  That seems to be resolved.  Also, the default ecranwide included with DBW would not work for me (see my thread on this) but yours is similar to the old UP version I used to have.  Very handy idea, especially for things like added planes.  Will definitely be grabbing any updates you post.

What would be the recommended free file hosting site of choice to support files over 200mb?  I found the one used via a google search, but if someone has a recommendation, I can repost.  Additionally, I have been working on the packs and have added an effects one as well.

How do you get the FOV Mods to work in UP3?

I tried to just copy the folder in to JSGME a second time and rename the #DBW folder in that modpack to #UP# but that does not work (UP3 won't even start).

That should work.

Be sure to have UP3 base as the first GME mod enabled, then the FOV second.  Also, on the SAS switcher, be sure to uncheck "Enable Mods Files Cache."  This will ensure that no mods are cached when switching between DBW and UP, or simply changing mods.

Also, once you enable the JGME mod for FOV in UP, open windows explorer and check to see that the FOV mods are correctly enabled ingame by seeing them listed in your #UP# folder off the game root.

I already did all of that but it wouldn't work. However it is not important since i found out that the "Warbirds Of Prey" "Full Switch" Server will not let me join as long as i have a #UP# folder inside my game folder (don't even have to activate any mods, having the folder is enough apparently). I think i might actually need to invest in a TrackIR.

Yea, WoP Zekes used to allow mods, at least the FOV one, but no more (which in all honesty is a good thing.  Nice to have everyone on a level playing field in full switch.).  I believe BoB is the only "Full Switch" that continues to allow mods on top of UP3..., at least I have been able to use the FOV mod there.

Actually, you likely "edit" the ini(s) within a given pack as required for the new mod.  For example if you are adding a new aircraft, the inis associated with aircraft are included in the pack.  Simply add the code necessary for the new aircraft to the inis within the Aircraft pack.  Therefore, you should only have one set of inis for each pack type that you then edit as you build out the mods related to that pack type.  There should not be "duplicate" inis within a given mod pack.

Of note, I have an updated version of the CLEAN DBW Modding JGME Packs coming out soon.  The update includes a revamp of the architecture and a few new mods included.  With the update, I will list out all mods within each pack type so everyone will know what is in each pack.  The JGME mouse-over documentation lists out the mods, but I can also include in the lead post of this thread to keep everyone informed of what is in the mix.

Look for release around the new year.

Windweapon,

This sounds brilliant idea! I would like to try it. If you do make it available through an alternate site, I urge you to select gamefront. I've never had a problem downloading from gamefront. Mediafire and Megaupload are another story.

Cheers,
